Issue credentials straight from Zapier

The Sertifier app on Zapier connects your credential campaigns to thousands of other tools. Choose a trigger from the app you already use, add the Sertifier action, and map the recipient fields. Each time the trigger fires, Sertifier creates and publishes a branded, verifiable credential for that person.

How it works

How the Zapier integration works

  1. Prepare your campaign

    In Sertifier, set up the design, credential details, and email template you want to send.

  2. Create a Zap

    Pick the trigger app and event, for example a new row in Google Sheets.

  3. Add the Sertifier action

    Choose Add and Publish Credential, then connect your account with your Sertifier API key.

  4. Map fields and turn it on

    Select the campaign, map name and email, test the Zap, and switch it on.

How do I connect Zapier to Sertifier?
Add the Sertifier app to your Zap and connect it with the API key from Settings, API and Integrations in your Sertifier account.
Which Sertifier actions are available on Zapier?
You can add and publish a credential, update a credential, create a PDF download link for a credential, and create campaigns and details.
Do I need a paid Zapier plan?
That depends on the Zap you build. Multi step Zaps and some apps require a paid Zapier plan. Check the Zapier pricing page for current limits.
Do credentials issue automatically?
Yes. Once Zapier is connected, credentials are issued automatically when the trigger in your Zap fires.
Can I issue badges as well as certificates?
Yes. You can issue certificates, badges, or both from the same Zapier trigger. Badges follow the Open Badges standard.
